Working at Iberica Restaurants - Marylebone

Our UK restaurants promise to showcase the true flavours of Spain in contemporary Iberian surroundings. Savour Ibérica’s gastronomic tapas from lunch until late evening amongst the relaxed and authentic atmosphere of a Spanish tapas bar. Our Executive Chef Nacho Manzano, with two Michelin Stars to his name, oversees a menu of classic dishes with an innovative twist as well as signature dishes from his own restaurant, Casa Marcial in Asturias, Northern Spain. To complement the tapas, Ibérica also offers an extensive selection of cheese and cured meats, including the famous Jamón Ibérico.

" You’ll hear the word family a lot at Ibérica; it’s how we describe our collection of restaurants and it’s also our chief inspiration, with many of our dishes taking their cues from childhood memories of eating with our families in Spain. These fond memories of coming together to eat meals lovingly prepared from beautiful yet humble ingredients is one of the reasons we’re so passionate about the authentic dishes, wine and culture of our homeland. And why sharing the best of these things with our guests brings us such joy. In Iberica, we strongly value difference and individuality. We believe that personality and authenticity are what make us special. Your ideas and energy shape every aspect of our people's success. We celebrate and welcome applications from all cultures, backgrounds, tastes and experience, and we are proud to generate a culture where everybody feels at their best. For us, this plays a crucial role in helping us creating memorable experience for both our team, and our guests. We want you to be successful at Ibérica, and we’ll do everything we can to help you. We aim to make this application process and working with us suitable for all. We’re very happy to discuss adjustments to our standard processes to facilitate this for you - just let us know and we can discuss! There are lots of opportunities to progress and develop your career with us, however far you want to go. We hope to welcome you soon to the Iberica Family."

Others about us

When I started in Iberica, I was just looking for a job to pay my bills and be able to stay in the country and learn English, just that as I had finished my career in arts. I had worked before in hospitality but was so different. More than 5 years after... I am still here! I just can say that I love my job. Every day is a different experience: new people, food, wines, and knowledge! Was a continuous learning experience, I cannot believe how much I grew inside the company and as an individual thanks to this opportunity. I have motivation and passion, to much passion I would say!. It's not just food and wines anymore, it's about growing and making grow. Now, it is my career.

“I currently look after the events and local marketing aspect of the whole Iberica group, but I started my journey in the company as a junior receptionist in one of the restaurants. After 5 years from my starting day, I really consider Iberica as a second family to me, and I’m thankful for all the friendly and inspiring colleagues I met on the way, who contributed ever more to my personal and professional growth, to the development of my skills and, of course, to my love for the best food and drinks.”

There are many challenges working in hospitality at the moment. It brings uncertainties at times, but having this strong “family” relationship with colleagues makes the resolution path easier. Iberica is a people-centric company in a true sense. Iberica provides plenty of opportunities. I started working as food runner in 2012 and my current role is Operations Manager. Iberica made me realised that what I was studying at that time, IT, wasn’t what I loved and helped me finding my true passion: hospitality, food and drinks. I couldn’t have felt more supported during my journey. Continuous learning and mentoring is our mantra. Iberica invests a lot on learning and development, this is probably what made me love what I do. I never heard about the idea of mentoring and coaching until I became Manager for this company. As now, I believe this should be a must for every company or work place.
